Educons Ltd is a
consulting company which specialises in helping organisations to
leverage existing strengths and supports organisational learning.
The company continues the traditions started by Matti
Suonperä, the founder of the company under the same name, in
1987. The mission of the company, as still carried out today, was to
consult, coach and instruct companies, educational entities,
organisations and community groups in how to develop internally.
Methods used by Educons are collaborative and co-operative, utilising
the expertise and knowledge of each participant. The Educons process
places emphasis on team development and group skills, such as
problem-solving methods, dialogue, conflict management and
decision-making. Additionally, Educons specialises in assisting
organisations with finding and taking advantage of existing employee
diversity. The development of these areas also has a definite positive
